Huawei Mediapad M5 SHT-W09 is a wireless-only variant of the tablet. it was released in April 2018 when it was possible to get a bootloader unlock code. But after July 2018 Huawei gradually upgraded devices to a new version which does not allow to generate the bootloader unlock codes. Some devices are still allowed for firmware downgrade and it’s a workaround to get bootloader unlock code.

How to install:

1. Backup all important data from your tablet
2. The battery must be charged up to 50%
3. Get a micro SD card with 8GB of free space
4. Format sd card in exFAT format
5. Extract the downloaded firmware zip file
6. Copy the dload folder to the micro sd card
7. Power off and disconnect the tablet, and hold 3 buttons (volume+, volume- and power) keep holding until the update starts.
8. After the update has been completed check the security patch level if it is rolled back then you have successfully downgraded firmware.
