How to Root Huawei Y6 Pro TIT-U02
We have received lots of requests for Huawei Y6 Pro TIT-U02 rooting method. And today i will guide how you can gain root access on this phone by using TWRP and SuperSU.
Disclaimer
You will loose warranty by rooting your phone.
Try at your own risk, files are tested on Huawei TIT-U02 before sharing
Instructions:
- Backup all your important data
- Install Huawei drivers (included in Hisuite)
- Get your bootloader unlock code (Click for guide)
- Enable OEM unlock in developer option, and also enable usb debugging in developer options.
- Download required files from This Link
- Extracted the downloaded files, and double click MAF32.exe
- Then type ” adb reboot-bootloader “
- Your phone should restart in fastboot mode.
- Now unlock bootloader by typing this command ” fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxx ” where xxx should be your code.
- After bootloader unlock, restart your phone
- Copy files from root folder to your sd card or internal storage.
- Check again if USB debugging enable, then again open MAF32.exe
- Type ” adb reboot-bootloader “
- Phone should enter fastboot, then type ” fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ” and press enter.
- If recovery flashing is successful you will see Finished OK… message
- Now type “fastboot reboot ” and before pressing enter button, hold volume up button and keep holding until you see startup menu, and choose recovery option in menu.
- Once you have entered in TWRP recovery mode, just press install and then press install image button. chose boot file ” boot.img ” that you have copied earlier. and replace it with boot when asked. swipe to flash.
- Then go back , again tap on install and select ” SuperSU-v2.79-SYSTEMMODE ” file, and swipe to install.
- Once completed, reboot your phone, Root has been successfully installed on your phone.

Hey there how did you get unlock code, because on mine I tried on huawei site and I keep getting an error msg ”Please make sure the verification code and model number are correct. If your device has multiple IMEIs or MEIDs, please try another IMEI or MEID.” or the verification code error. I don’t know what to do anymore

Mahlatse please ensure that you typed “TIT-U02” only on device name not “HUAWEI TIT-UO2”
custom recovery sucessfully installed but no root
You will get root only after following all steps, only flashing twrp don’t give you root access
The twrp recovery doesnt work
You need to practice it more, and read each step carefully, it’s tested and working 100%
it gives me error on my phone during installment size too big

hello i rooted with your method about 4 months ago and used the service for imei unlock everything went smoothly,
but since then the camera app does not start unless i open it from third party app like whatsapp,
and every time i reboot the device it takes 45 minutes optimizing apps,
any advise on fixes?
Not sure about fix, but i read somewhere that replacing supersu with kingroot, fix apps optimization issue
