Huawei Mate 20 Lite SNE-LX1 EMUI 12 Firmware Update Europe C432
Surprise update for Huawei Mate 20 Lite users from Huawei. EMUI 12 is being rolled out for European users of the SNE-LX1 model. This update is available for both single and dual sim models. This update is strictly for devices with a C432 build number. Don’t try on any other cust version. Updates are sent in batches and if you can not wait for the update to arrive, just follow the guide below to install this update.
Huawei Mate 20 Lite update requirements:
- Disable antivirus/windows defender (Very Important)
- The phone must be running the latest EMUI 10
- Your phone must have cust version C432 (check build number)
- The battery must be charged up to 60%
- Good quality USB cable
- Windows 10 / 11 computer
- Hisuite 11.0.0.610 OVE or newer must be installed Download From This LINK
- Download Hisuite Proxy V3.1.3 from THIS LINK
- Connect phone in Hisuite
The process to update:
- Extract the Hisuite Proxy V3.X.X
- Run Hisuite proxy, and make sure you allow firewall access when it asks
- Tap on the ” Setup “ button in the Hsiuite proxy.
- Make sure you tick in “Target build number”
- If your phone is a single sim then copy SNE-L01-LGRP2 102.0.0.226(C432E3R1P1)
- If your phone is a dual sim then copy SNE-L21-LGRP2 102.0.0.226(C432E3R1P1)
- Paste it in the “Target Package Build Number” section
- Must tick ” Force Auth Bridge “
- Must tick ” Override IMEI “
- Open Hisuite again and connect your phone, check for updates in Hisuite
- Start installation

Important: If installation fails at 99%, set the date of your computer to 01-September-2023, and run the update again, it will succeed.

Hi. Just to point on one issue. The phone after the update, has strange, lowered (quieter let’s say), sound. Nothing can change behavior of the sound quality for any ringtone. It’s not an issue of the ringtones, but rather something with firmware updates and the internal software path for sound handling. So, the firmware is fine, but this issue remains.
It should be reported to Huawei on official Twitter handle, so it can be fixed in coming updates
