A new firmware version for Huawei Mate 10 ALP-L29 is now available. This firmware is only suitable for phones with the cust185 version. Mostly Middle Eastern and African models have this cust. This firmware can be helpful in unbricking the phone if it’s stuck in recovery mode. If you are going to use it for an upgrade make sure your phone is already on android 9. Don’t use this firmware directly on EMUI8.1 firmware. According to official logs, this update optimizes system compatibility with certain networks.

Installation Guide

• Backup all important data from the phone
• Charge the battery up to 50%
• Get a micro SD card with 8GB of free space
• Extract the downloaded firmware zip file (password=https://ministryofsolutions.com ALP)
• Insert SD card in the phone
• Then copy the dload folder to your SD card
• Dial *#*#2846579#*#* then tap on software upgrade >sd card update and the update should start
• If the code does not work, then power off the phone and disconnect from pc. Hold volume up, volume down, and power, keep holding until the update starts.
