How to Root Huawei Y5II
Huawei Y5II have several version (eg. CUN-U29, CUN-L01, CUN-L33). these files are only tested on few firmware , so before trying any root method make sure you take full backup of your ROM in recovery. This method only works on 3g model with Mediatek MT6582 chip.
If you have 4g LTE model Click Here
CUN-L29 and other 3g models root:
- Enable oem unlock in developer options
- Backup all important data
- Unlock bootloader of your phone (How to unlock?)
- Download root files from THIS LINK
- Extract it, and copy SuperSU file to your phone storage.
- connect phone in fastboot mode (Switch off, hold volume down and insert cable)
- Open MAF32.exe
- If your build number is B123 type ” fastboot flash recovery recovery_123.img ” and press enter
- If your build number is B125 or higher type ” fastboot flash recovery recovery125-128.img ” and press enter
- After successful recovery installation, hold volume up on phone and type ” fastboot reboot ” press enter keep holding volume up.
- Stop pressing volume up when you see recovery screen, as shown image below. tap on install zip then select supersu zip that you have just copied, and reboot.

My built number is B134 so that means I should type fastboot flash recovery recovery125-134.img ?

Is there still a chance to get my phone rooted? I tried kingroot etc it didn’t work for me
If you use kingroot it will brick your phone instead
will this work for CUN-L01
