as extra security measure Google has introduced less secure app access feature , which may block access to your account when accessed via 3rd party application such as Outlook, Thunderbird.
Solution
to solve this problem, login to your Google account and browse to connected apps & device setting under sign-in & security category. and scroll down to end of the page and enable ” Allow less secure apps” as shown in image below.
