Huawei Y6 2017 root method is now available. Since the launch of this model rooting remained a challenge for users. But now its possible, we have successfully tested it on MYA-L41 European variant. Root has been gained with the help magsik (New systemless rooting app).

Rooting tutorial:

1. Backup all important data from the phone
2. Buy your bootloader unlock code (click here)
3. Unlock the bootloader of your phone (guide here)
4. Download root files from THIS LINK 
5. Extract the downloaded zip file (password: ministryofsolutions.com)
6. Install Magisk Manager 7.1.1.apk on your phone
7. Then connect the phone in fastboot mode
8. Open MAF32.exe and type command ” fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img ” and press enter
9. Then type ” fastboot reboot ” and press enter
10. Let the phone reboot, connect to wifi, and open Magisk, if it says Magisk installed, root has been successful
11. Stock boot.img also added in zip, just in case you want to unroot, you can uninstall magisk and flash stock boot.img

Note: do not update rooted phone, do not factory reset rooted phone
