Huawei P20 Pro CLT-L29 EMUI 12 Firmware Update (Europe)
Huawei has started a stable EMUI 12 rollout for Europe. Finally wait is over for Huawei P20 Pro users. We have CLT-L29 links for the update. If the cust version of your phone is C432 and the phone is running the latest EMUI 10 then you can install this update. The Cust version can be checked in the build number. If you have not yet received this update, then you can manually install it by following the guide below.
Changelog:
- This update introduces EMUI 12, providing you with an intuitive interface, a multi-device section in the Control Panel, and various useful functions.
Huawei P20 Pro update requirements:
- Disable antivirus/windows defender (Very Important)
- The phone must be running the latest EMUI 10
- Your phone must have cust version C432 (check build number)
- The battery must be charged up to 60%
- Good quality USB cable
- Windows 10 / 11 computer
- Hisuite 11.0.0.610 OVE must be installed Download From This LINK
- Download Hisuite Proxy V3.3.X from THIS LINK
- Connect phone in Hisuite
Installation Process:
- Extract the Hisuite Proxy V3.X.X
- Run Hisuite proxy, and make sure you allow firewall access when it asks
- Tap on the ” Setup “ button in the Hsiuite proxy.
- Tick “Override IMEI”
- Make sure you tick in “Target build number”
- if your phone is a dual sim copy CLT-L29-LGRP2 102.0.0.225(C432E5R1P1)
- paste it in the “Target Package Build Number” section
- Must tick ” Force Auth Bridge “
- Open Hisuite again and connect your phone, check for updates in Hisuite
- Start installation
- For your ease, please see the screenshots below
Important: If installation fails at 99%, set the date of your computer to 01-September-2023, and run the update again, it will succeed.

If your phone have c432 version then yes
Will this work for c636 version?
no, only for C432

yes, the fixed computer has an asus motherboard but the laptop is from acer and in both it gives this error

In play store settings, there is no playprotect certification…
Because your device have different cust version, and you have installed c432.
This firmware is not suitable for your phone
My P20 pro i have buy in France, my Emui 10 was on C432 version, no problem with Emui 10 in C432 global.
But now you have emui 12 not emui 10
Your problem can not be solved until you fix the cust version of your phone
Okay but, i don’t know the custom origin on my phone, maybe C109 but i’m not sure, the custom C109 for emui 12 is not available for CLT-L29 🙁
