Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L23 Balong Fix /Convert to Dual Sim /debrand/Upgrade ALE-L23C605B524
In my previous posts, I wrote about the European and Middle Eastern versions of P8 lite. After a deep search, I have found a way for the P8 Lite ALE-L23 balong fix. This model has been released in Latin America and users for this region are facing problems in converting it to dual sim without changing the model number.

- Make sure your phone is rooted (How to root P8 Lite ?)
- Once your phone is rooted download this vendor file and copy it to your phone memory/SD card.
- Boot your phone into recovery mode (switch off then hold volume up + power) for 20 seconds.
- In TWRP recovery press install and select vendor file then swipe to flash/install.
- Then download this dual sim firmware version and install it.

Hi, I tried to follow the steps, the link to download the firmware is broken, when I finally obtained the firmware in other website and installed the EMUI started but at 4% sent a message “software install failed”, any idea how to fix it. Thanks

To install stock firmware you need stock recovery, you cannot install it through twrp.
To get stock recovery extract it from firmware using huawei firmware extractor
