P8 Lite Middle East Upgrade/Downgrade/Debrand/Convert/Bootloop/balong Fix
This post is written with the help of my follower name Mohammad from Jordan, who had a single sim p8 lite that faced a balong bug. He asked me for help and trusted me. he trusted me followed my instructions and successfully converted his phone to dual sim without a bug. so now I am sharing this method with all of my readers.
This Guide will work for Downgrade/Upgrade/Debrand/Dual sim convert/Bootloop/balong bug fix
Note: This method is tested on ALE-L21 Middle Eastern/African variant & should be used for this model only.
Warning: I am not responsible if tried on other models and the phone gets bricked. it may work or may not work for other models & regions.

Steps:
1. Phone bootloader should be unlocked (How to unlock bootloader?)
2. Phone should not be rooted, if rooted, please unroot it.
3. Battery should be at least 60% charged
4. Download ADB Minimal drivers and install them.
5. Very Important Enable USB debugging in settings>developer options>, If developer options are not available then 7 times tap on the build number, and then you will be able to see it.
6. Now download downgraded/debranded/conversion firmware from the following download link
P8 Lite Middle East Rollback Lollipop Firmware.zip
7. Extract downloaded firmware you will get 2 folders, one is “rollback” & other is “dload”.
8. Connect phone with pc,
9. Open the rollback folder and double-click on the install.bat file. and follow on-screen instructions.
10. wait for the installation to complete, it may take up to 20 minutes. don’t disconnect the phone, after successful installation your phone will restart.
11. Now copy the ” dload “folder into your phone’s internal memory
12. Switch off phone & hold 3 buttons (power + volume up + Volume down) for 20 seconds. You will see an update screen. let it finish.
13. Done, Now your phone has dual sim functionality without balong bug, and you will start getting OTA updates. if you want to stay on the lollipop don’t install any updates.
14. If you want to upgrade to Marshmallow manually, then use the following firmware

no you don't need to rollback
when i execute step 9 and run install batch file cmd screen appears and message appears. No installation process as per step 10 starts. kindly guide me what to do
Make sure your computer is clean from viruses, and check device manager if drivers are installed properly, then switch your phone to fastboot mode manually and try again,

Sir I downloaded the files and open rollback folder and double click to Install and then connect my p8 lite the pc but its show only wait for device what is this and how to fix it….

Sir the pc procedure is all work but after this procedure copy the dload folder in internal mamorey in phone and try to downgrade its fail…

You don’t need to do anything, your phone is all right, if you want to upgrade use the marshmallow file

If all files flashed, then you are on lollipop now, agr nhi hua to i can do through TeamViewer, but charges hongay

Thanks a lot for your help, it really worked great for me. I struggled for a long time, from unlocking the boot to getting fastboot to detect my phone, it was a nightmare. With fastboot i realised i was using an outdated version of the driver.
With unclocking i used a method i saw on youtube, i got the lock key instantly instead of that 14 days waiting period nonsense. You are a start man, give than man a bell!
Hi sir i did the flash wrong firmware i can’t enable sim cards it failed no network imei is null,when am trying to update to new version manual it failed.

Sounds like it’s WCDMA only, doesn’t support gsm
