Honor 8X Bootloader has been unlocked finally. All variants of this model JSN-L21, JSN-L22, and JSN-AL00 are supported. This service does not provide you bootloader code. It will be direct unlock through a USB cable. At this moment only EMU9 and EMUI8 are supported. The bootloader will remain unlocked unless the firmware is installed through the sd card. If you are looking to install a custom rom you may have to downgrade to MEUI9.0 because EMUI9.1 has a read-only system partition. If your phone has been already upgraded to a newer version of EMUI then you can roll back using Hisuite.
