[Solved] iTunes crashes with coreaudiotoolbox.dll error
few days back one my colleague called me that iTunes is continuously crashing. when i visited him error log was showing coreaudiotoolbox.dll component failed to start and was causing to crash iTunes. normally this component is used by QuickTime player. in earlier versions of iTunes this error could be resolved by installing latest QuickTime player. but in this latest version they changed the way how this component works.
Solution
if you are running windows 7 and facing this app crash , the only solution that may work is windows update, the computer i have seen was running windows 7 without service pack 1. i just ran windows update & installed service pack 1. after restart iTunes opened without any problem.
as you can see in following video
downgrade install itunes 12.3 it will work fine
and what if you have latest IOS on your phone and it won't accept old itunes?
Thank you for your support,

If your windows is genuine you should get service pack update through windows updates, just check for updates and it will give you list of available updates.
If you want to install manually, 1st check your version of Windows 64 bit or 32bit. 32 is called x86, then search for matching service pack,
In my case i installed it through Windows updates in control panel
