Hello Mutahhar Bro ! I have p9 Lite North African VNS-L21C185B150 as my current build number. I would like to know whether I will be able to update my phone via this VNS-L21 Nougat B360 update you have provided in the above article since I didn’t get an official OTA via huawei yet
Yes you can upgrade
sir i used method 2
but hisuite says no internet connection when using proxy
1st press start button in updater
Data File update_data_full_VNS-L21_hw_meafnaf.zip what is this file for ? if update.zip (firmware ) will install nougat then why do we use this data file ?
Without this your build number will not change
it says SOFTWARE INSTALL FAILED!
Incompability with current version
Please Download the correct update package
🙁 🙁
Use 2nd or 3rd method
I will be trying the second method, but is there any risk of my phone getting bricked ?
No
But i have already pressed start in updater
There seems to be another problem though
I had tried emui 5 beta earlier by manual flashing
But after using oeminfo to revert to marshmallow
My phones firmware model shows c900b150
Instead of c185b150
Is this a problem
I have no idea which oeminfo you have used. If it was from European version, then you must install European version of marshmallow. Not middle eastern. And connection error has nothing to do with your build number. It’s different issue
