Huawei Mediapad M6 SCM-W09 is a wifi-only variant. Tablet is powered by Kirin 980 the flagship series chip and UFS 2.1 storage. This model comes in 3 different variants, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Global variants usually get only 64GB and 128GB variants. 256GB variant is only available in the Chinese market. Huawei has released its own operating system called HarmonyOS is now available for Mediapad M6. But HarmonyOS is only compatible with Chinese models. So if you have a Global model please don’t install it without converting your tablet to the Chinese version.

Installation Guide:

• Backup all essential data from the Tablet
• Charge the battery up to 50%
• The tablet must be running EMUI 11 or HarmonyOS
• Get an OTG flash drive with 8GB of free space
• Extract the downloaded firmware zip file (password=https://ministryofsolutions.com SCM)
• Connect OTG to the tablet.
• Power off the tablet, hold the volume up, and connect the cable, The tablet will enter recovery mode
• Select update mode> OTG update
