This is very common error in thumb impression/time attendance & door access machines, while this error appears, you will not be able to communicate with machine, via LAN or USB.
reason why this error appears, is built-in security feature,below in the image you can see a push button circled in red color.

this button need to be pushed while fixing the back plate with wall, if button is not pushed the security system inside machine consider it as machine is broken, so to prevent data leakage, it start showing system Broken ! error message,
so if you want to get rid of the error, make sure you fixed the machine properly and that button se pushed.
