in recent years we have seen many changes in social apps, specially on facebook, you can send images, videos, you can make audio/video calls. but still one this is missing, thats voice message option,
imagine chating without typing, but that’s is not possible by default from the website, though they have introduced this feature in messenger.

but now developers have introduced a google extension that let you send voice messages in facebook chat
its available for free in Google store.

go to google store and search for extension talk & comment

you will find it in search result

click on free button and it will ask you to install the extension, click on free button again, and it will start installing extension, after installation it will ask you for hardware (mic) use permission,
as shown in image below

you have to click on allow button and set the permission to allow the extension .
after it you will see a mic button in facebook chat, see image below

hold down that button to record your voice message,  then hit enter to send the voice message

next person will see a play button to hear this message,
note: people using Facebook on mobile phone cannot hear this message, it works only with desktop
computers.
