Samsung C9 Pro (SM-C9000) Rooted and Gapps Installed
Samsung C9 Pro has been released in china and lots of people looking to root it to get google apps on this phone. after lots of struggle i have finally found a way to root this phone.
Samsung C9 Pro SM-C9000 Rooted
This process is 100% working and tested by me proceed at your own risk.
Step by step guide:
- This guide is only for Samsung C9 Pro (SM-C9000) models running PK2 , PL1 &PL5roms.
- Install Samsung USB drivers, easily available on samsung official site.
- Backup all important data, as your phone will factory reset during this process.
- Battery should be at least 50% charged
- Good quality sd card at least 2GB
- Enable developer options
- Enable oem unlock
- Disable Samsung reactivation lock
- Download Odin from This Link (its chinese version i don’t know if others version will work)
- Download TWRP Recovery (Click Here for PK2) (Click Here for PL1) (Click Here For PL5) (Clicl Here For AQ6)
- Download superSU from This Link
- Copy SuperSU file on your sd card
- Open Samsung galaxy apps store and download crom services open it to unlock your bootloader.
- Once bootloader unlocked, restart phone in download mode (Switch off , then hold volume down + home button and power button) then press volume up to enter recovery mode.
- Start odin, connect phone with pc , then click on PDA button and select TWRP recovery file.
- Remove tick from 1st option as shown in image
- Then start flashing, after successful flashing your phone will not restart. you have to enter recovery mode immediately, (hold volum up, volume down, home, power) and when phone start boot, release volume down key.
- you will see TWRP recovery screen, it will be in chinese, don’t tap on anything just swipe

- On next screen tap on 3rd button in 2nd column as shown in image below.

- On next screen tap on last tab with globe icon to change language as shown in images below.

- Once language changed, go to main menu and select wipe , and tap on format data, then type yes.
- Once data format completed, again format it, yes you have to 2 times.
- Now tap on install and select Supersu file that you have copied on your sd card earlier. then swipe to flash it.
- After that restart your phone and it will start apps optimization, let it complete. and you will see Supersu icon that means you have successfully rooted your phone.
- Now if you want to install Google apps, download ARM64 nano version from This Link
- Then flash them same as you flashed SuperSU.
- After install make sure you fix permissions for all google apps installed.

kindly i have problem with my Samsung sm-c9000 when i try to wipe data partition from twrp its say error and cannot amount the data partition can you help please
you have to allow modifications when twrp starts 1st time,
you should not touch any button, only swipe to allow modifications

Do you know if there is a rooted firmware for Samsung Pro C9 (sm-c9000) ?
You should tap on advanced then select data partition, swipe and then type yes, then swipe again, this time it will be successful.
TWRP -> Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Data -> Repair or Change file system. Change the format of the partition and you will be able to mount it and wipe it

My C9 Pro now have newest firmware, that differs from PL1 and PK2 – it is PL3. How can I get correct TWRP?

i already flash the twrp and install the supersu but my problem is when i install the gapps it say insuffient storage i use arm64 6.0 stock. hope u read it sir and help me thanks
Can you boot phone normally and access internal storage?
Download root checker and confirm root 1sr
In that case, instsll mini package. The side of stock package is big and that is why you get the error

Hong Kong firmware has already been shared, please search it, you can always revert back to original firmware

Hello, anyone running xposed on galaxy c9 pro? I downloaded the firmware C9000ZHU1APL2_C9000ZZH1APL2 and the C9000ZHU1AQA2_C9000ZZH1AQA2 l but I did not try to do root, any of these firmware is working root?

Flash original firmware which was installed before
turns out it was just a bad recovery img, found a different one, flashed it and we were good to go, the moral here is if you can connect to ODIN you can recover your phone……woohoo! Haver you guys tried putting nougat on? Cheers.
Possibly you have downloaded wrong recovery, nougat not yet available

I bought Samsung galaxy Pro C9 in Dubai without checking if the phone has keyboard the phone is in google speak now. Unfortunately no keyboard has been installed when trying to go play store can’t use speak on mode for installing keyboard can u pls help me on this. Thnx

So the install went ok but now I cannot pickup any Wifi. Not sure what is going wth WLAN?
