In 2019 Huawei P smart Z was released with EMUI 9.0 running on it. A 6.59-inch IPS display is available along with a 16 MP dual camera, a Kirin 710F chipset, and a 4000 mAh battery on this phone. There is also a motorized pop-up selfie camera and a fingerprint sensor on the device, as well as NFC support for wireless payments. In addition, the device has a large and immersive screen that does not have any notch or hole. There have been limited software updates and security patches released by Huawei for this device. But recently Huawei has released a new EMUI 12 update for this phone. Please follow the instructions carefully for installing this update.

Warning: Don’t install on Y9 Prime or phone from any other region

Requirements:

• Disable antivirus/Windows Defender (Very Important)
• The phone must be running the latest EMUI 10
• Your phone must have cust version C432 (check build number)
• Dial *#*#2846579#*#* tap on veneer information > version info (and verify its STK-L21UDV)
• The battery must be charged up to 60%
• Good quality USB cable
• Windows 10 / 11 computer
• Hisuite 11.0.0.610 OVE must be installed Download From This LINK
• Download Hisuite Proxy V3.3.X from THIS LINK
• Connect phone in Hisuite

Huawei P smart z EMUI 12 Installation Process:

• Extract the Hisuite Proxy V3.X.X
• Run Hisuite proxy, and make sure you allow firewall access when it asks
• Tap on the ” Setup “ button in the Hsiuite proxy.
• Tick “Override IMEI”
• Make sure you tick in “Target build number”
• if your phone is a dual sim copy STK-L21UDV-LGRP10 102.0.0.225(C432E2R1P1) and paste it into the “Target Package Build Number” section
• Must tick ” Force Auth Bridge “ (If updates fail at 99% then remove the tick and try again)
• Open Hisuite again and connect your phone, check for updates in Hisuite 
• Start installation

Important: If installation fails at 99%, set the date of your computer to 01-September-2023, and run the update again, it will succeed.
