Right after 2 months Huawei released 2nd update for Mediapad 2 8.0 M2-801L european variant. i would like to clarify this update only applies to 4g version of mediapad 2. changelog is not much different from previous 205 firmware.

Update Features

• This update changes the current system version to EMUI 4.0 to adapt to Android 6.0.
• Compared to earlier versions, Android 6.0 has improved security, stability, and management performance.
• EMUI 4.0 has improved the UI and settings based on earlier versions.

• Provided small, medium, and large view modes.

• Added the auto redialing feature.

[Home screen]

• Optimized the recent task management, which now displays recent tasks in card form.
• Optimized the settings screen in Simple home screen style.

Installation Guide

• Your data will not be removed (backup for your security)
• You must be running B205 (Posted Here)
• Make dload folder on internal / external storage.
• Extract downloaded zip file and copy update.app to dload.
• Switch off your phone and hold 3 buttons (volume up, volume down, and power) until you see update start screen.
• You are done, 1st boot may take 10 minutes or less.
