I think this is happening for 1st time that Mexican users are getting in-time updates from Huawei. Huawei Mate 20 EMUI 12 update has been rolled out for Mexican models. This update is currently only available for devices with the C212 cust version. C212 is mainly used for Huawei devices sold by AT&T. So if your phone has C212 in the build number but still has not received the update you can follow the guide to update your phone.

Huawei Mate 20 update requirements:

• Disable antivirus/Windows Defender (Very Important)
• The phone must be running the latest EMUI 11
• Your phone must have cust version C212 (check build number)
• The battery must be charged up to 60%
• Good quality USB cable
• Windows 10 / 11 computer
• Hisuite 11.0.0.610 OVE or newer must be installed Download From This LINK
• Download Hisuite Proxy V3.1.3 from THIS LINK
• Connect phone in Hisuite

The process to update:

• Extract the Hisuite Proxy V3.X.X
• Run Hisuite proxy, and make sure you allow firewall access when it asks
• Tap on the ” Setup “ button in the Hsiuite proxy.
• Make sure you tick in “Target build number”
• If your phone has cust C212 then copy HMA-L09-LGRP2 102.0.0.132(C212E3R1P1)
• Paste it in the “Target Package Build Number” section
• Must tick ” Force Auth Bridge “
• Must tick ” Override IMEI “
• Open Hisuite again and connect your phone, check for updates in Hisuite 
• Start installation

Important: If installation fails at 99%, set the date of your computer to 01-September-2023, and run the update again, it will succeed.
