Huawei Mate 10 Pro Android 11 dotOS ROM [BLA-L09/L29/AL00]
We have shared several tutorials for customized user experience on Huawei Mate 10 Pro. This phone has been performing amazingly fast even in 2022. we have decided to experiment with some GSI ROM installations on this phone. dotOS ROM is the most lite and customizable ROM for this Mate 10 Pro. In order to install this ROM your phone should be downgraded to EMUI9.1 because bootloader unlock is only possible on android 9. Without bootloader unlock, you can’t install any ROM on this phone. Huawei Mate 10 Pro dotOS Installation Guide:
- This guide is only for Devices running EMUI9.1/EMUI9.0
- You must have a USB OTG connector and USB flash drive with 8Gb free storage.
- Backup all important data on your phone (hisuite doesn’t work with custom ROM), use another method
- If you don’t have a bootloader unlock code, buy the code 1st (click here)
- Download ROM from this link: From Here or HERE (Make sure you download dotOS-R-v5.2-arm64-ab-VANILLA-OFFICIAL)
- Download other required Files from THIS LINK
- Extract the zip file (password=ministryofsolutions.com)
- Also, extract the rom file and copy it to the same folder where you have extracted the ROM installation files
- Copy Gapps zip and dotOS rom img file to a USB flash drive
- Connect the phone in fastboot mode, then open MAF32.exe and flash TWRP (command example=fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery-3.3.1-0-e.img) TWRP credit
- Disconnect phone from PC and hold volume up and power buttons, Keep holding until TWRP recovery appears.
- Now connect the USB flash drive to the phone
- Tap on Reboot and then tap on Recovery, phone will restart to TWRP mode again
- Now tap on, wipe >advanced wipe then tick only system partition and swipe to wipe
- Then go back to the main menu of TWRP
- Tap on install > Tap on install image > Tap on Select Storage > choose OTG Drive
- Now tap on the dotOS image file and then select system_image partition to install
- Swipe to install, and wait for the installation to complete.
- If you don’t want to install GAPPS, you can skip the next step
- Go back to the main menu of TWRP
- Tap on wipe>advanced wipe>select system partition >tap on Repair or change file system > Resize File System and swipe to resize, if any error appears, repeat resize operation.
- Go back to the main menu of TWRP and now flash GAPPS zip
- Then go back to the main menu of TWRP and tap on reboot > Bootloader
- The phone will enter fastboot mode again and you should flash stock recovery with flash command ( fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDISk.img ) and press enter
- Once stock recovery flashed, disconnect the phone from the PC and hold the volume up + power button, keep holding until stock recovery appears.
- Wipe data factory reset and then reboot
- The dotOS will boot (1st boot may take some time)
