if during kaspersky product activation , you are getting server error,
reasons could be different, sometimes internet connection are out, kaspersky wont allow connection through proxies, etc

[Solved] kaspersky activation error “cannot setup server connection”

to troubleshoot this problem, 1st of all check your date & time is correct, as shown in image below

if it doesn’t work, 2nd thing you can try, open internet explorer, click on tools > internet options> then go to advanced tab, and click restore default & reset button, after that restart your computer & then try to activate, i hope your problem will be resolved.
and still if there is error , remove any proxy application (Hotspot,izone, etc) and then try to activate again.
this method is 100% tested by me.
