A new firmware update has been released for Y5II CUN-L02 which was released in New Zealand by SPARK. But this phone doesn’t exist in huawei devices list on New Zealand Huawei regional website. Please read installation instructions carefully.

Installation Guide
- SD card with Minimum 1GB free space
- Charge battery upto 40%
- create dload folder on sd card
- Don’t extract just copy downloaded ” update.zip “file to dload folder. (Warning if you extract update file your phone will be dead)
- Switch off phone, then holde volume up and power to enter recovery mode.
- Use volume down key to navigate and select apply update from external storage. and update should start.

for some reason this did not work i followed the instructions it said no app found
My mistake,
Follow this, switch off phone, then hold volume up and power, it will enter recovery mode, the select update from sd card, it should start
