Huawei P Smart Pro STK-L21 is getting an EMUI 12 update in the European Economic region. STK-L21 is the most complex model released by Huawei. It’s really difficult for users to identify which model they have. By looks, all variants of STK-L21 look the same but have different firmware versions. In this post, we are sharing the EMUI 12 update method only for devices with the C431 cust version. And strictly not for the P smart Z model. You can identify the model, by going to the project menu, dialing *#*#2846579#*#*, and checking software information, if it shows you STK-L21UDV then your phone is P smart Pro.

Huawei P Smart Pro update Requirements:

• Disable antivirus/Windows Defender (Very Important)
• The phone must be running the latest EMUI 10
• Your model cust must be STK-L21UDV (you can check under the project menu by dialing *#*#2846579#*#*, and software version)
• Your phone must have cust version C431 (check build number)
• The battery must be charged up to 60%
• Good quality USB cable
• Windows 10 / 11 computer
• Hisuite 11.0.0.610 OVE must be installed Download From This LINK
• Download Hisuite Proxy V3.3.X from THIS LINK
• Connect phone in Hisuite

Installation Process:

• Extract the Hisuite Proxy V3.X.X
• Run Hisuite proxy, make sure you allow firewall access when it asks
• Tap on the ” Setup “ button in the Hsiuite proxy.
• Tick “Override IMEI”
• Make sure you tick in “Target build number”
• if your phone is a dual sim copy STK-L21UDV-LGRP10-OVS 102.0.0.225(C431E2R1P1) and paste it into the “Target Package Build Number” section
• if the above version doesn’t work then try STK-L21UDV-LGRP10 102.0.0.225(C431E2R1P1) and paste it into the “Target Package Build Number” section
• Must tick ” Force Auth Bridge “
• Open Hisuite again and connect your phone, check for updates in Hisuite 
• Start installation

Important: If installation fails at 99%, set the date of your computer to 01-September-2023, and run the update again, it will succeed.
