Huawei Nova Plus MLA-L11 users were waiting for long time to get twrp and root for this device. and finally i have found working TWRP and root for this phone.

This method is compatible with MLA-L11/Miamang 5 / G9 Plus

Note: It may also work with MLA-L01 ,CAN-L01,CAN-L11 these phones have same hardware so i believe it will work. But test at your own risk.

Installation Guide

• Only works with Marshmallow.
• Unlock phone’s bootloader (How to unlock bootloader?)
• Download TWRP recovery from THIS LINK
• Put your phone into fastboot mode (switch off , hold volume down and connect with pc)
• Extract downloaded file, then double click “MAF32.exe” then type ” Fastboot flash recovery twrp_recovery.img “.
• If installation is successful , don’t restart phone to normal mode.
• Hold power button to switch off, and instantly press volume up and power together until it enters TWRP mode.
• Recovery will be in chinese, you should tap on 3rd button in right column, and then tap globe tab to change language, otherwise watch This video to change TWRP language.

• Then Tap on wipe and tap format data, type yes and swipe to format.
• Then tap on advanced and tap on root, then swipe to install root.
• Then again tap on wipe & format data.
• Restart Phone, Its rooted now
