Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite CPN-L09 TWRP and Root
Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite CPN-L09 TWRP and root are now available. This rooting method is only applicable to devices running Android Nougat. The rooting method used in this tutorial is called Magisk. Users are required to unlock the bootloader before proceeding with root. By unlocking bootloader users will lose vendor warranty/guarantee. This rooting method can also be used on CPN-L0j/AL00/W09 variants.

Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite Rooting Process:
- Without an sd card rooting is not possible, so get an sd card 1st
- Make a backup of all your important data before proceeding.
- The bootloader of your tablet should be unlocked (How to unlock bootloader?)
- Download all required files from THIS LINK (password=ministryofsolutions.com)
- Extract the downloaded zip file
- Copy Magisk-V16.0.zip on sd card
- Connect tablet in fastboot mode (power off, then hold volume down and insert cable)
- Extract downloaded zip file, open MAF32.exe, and type ” fastboot flash twrp_3.3.1-0.img “
- Once TWRP is flashed, hold the volume up and power, when see the logo stop pressing the power button but keep holding the volume up even after the reboot, when you see the TWRP recovery screen stop pressing the button.
- Swipe to allow modifications.
- Do not wipe any partition
- You are advised to make backup of all partitions, before proceeding (it will help you to restore device incase something goes wrong) watch video posted below for more details.
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Tap on install and select Magisk-V16.0.zip that you have copied to sd card.
- Once installed, reboot phone
- Install root checker from playstore and verify root access.
