Huawei mate 10 lite root method is finally available . The rooting method was shared by ” rambik_ ” on 4pda. i would like to warn all users as full firmware is not yet available for free. So anything you try is at your own risk. In addition , bootloader unlock is also required so chance is you will lose warranty. so before you proceed keep these things in mind.

Rooting Process:

• Backup all important data
• You need sd card (any capacity)
• Enable oem unlock in developer options
• Unlock bootloader of your phone ( How to unlock? )
• Download root files from THIS LINK
• After download extract it on your computer, and copy ” SuperSU-v2.82-EMUI5-SELPermissive.zip ” to sd card
• Power off phone and hold volume down then insert cable to start phone in fastboot mode
• Open ” MAF32.exe ” and type ” fastboot flash recovery2 TWRP_3.1.1-0-new.img ” and press enter
• After successful installation, hold volume up and power to enter TWRP mode (Don’t disconnect phone)
• Once you are in TWRP, swipe to allow modification and disocnnect phone from computer
• You are advised to make backup of boot and system partitions (Just in case you need to restore your device later )
• Tap on install and choose ” SuperSU-v2.82-EMUI5-SELPermissive.zip ” that you have copied earlier
• Swipe to install, and reboot phone.
• After 2 reboot attempts it should boot to home screen.
