How To Make Mac Bootable USB in Windows 8/7/vista/xp
i have seen many users asking for some method to make MAC bootable USB using windows operating system,
here is step by step guide
1st of all you must have MAC image with “.dmg” extension, iso file will not work with this method,
2nd you need a software named TransMac can be downloaded here
its a 15days trial , and it will work fine if you don’t want to use it again,
once you downloaded the software,
insert 8 GB USB flash drive in system and open the software,
you will see following screen, click run

once you clicked the run button you will see the following interface,
in this image you can see its showing 2 drives, 1 is my HDD & 2nd is 8gb flash.
right click on flash icon and chose “Format Disk For MAC”
once completed then again right click on flash icon & chose ” restore with disk image”

it will prompt you to chose the mac image with .dmg extension
select it & click open

after that program should start creating bootable MAC flash, click ok for any warning shown,
once the burning process finished , it will show a message saying, process finished

thats it, you are done, your bootable mac flash drive is ready
plugit into mac machine and hit Crtl key, chose usb to boot from
and start installation
Note: if any error occurs after finishing the installation just boot it once in safe mood, for me i didn’t have any problem, MAC booted up fine after installations 🙂
