Honor 8X MAX ARE-AL00 is Chinese variant and totally different version from ARE-AL10. Because of different hardware its not possible to convert it to international version. In this post we will share custom rom for this model which is based on EMUI8.2. You can try to add google apps with this custom rom and it may work. This rom is only for ARE-AL00 , do not flash on any other model.

Some details about this rom:

• This rom is based on the Official 163 version
• Only devices running EMUI 8.2 must be flashed
• ROM is rooted and Xposed is pre-installed
• ROM has Chinese and English languages only
• This is only compatible with ARE-AL00
• This rom is taken from Chinese developers, anything you try at your own risk.

How to Flash:

• Download rom from THIS LINK
• Extract it on your computer (password=ministryofsolutions.com)
• It’s advised to not use TWRP before the flash
• Unlock the bootloader of your phone (How to unlock?)
• Connect the phone in fastboot mode
• Double click Flasher.bat
• Choose option 1 and press enter
• Flashing will start, after successful flash, phone will automatically reboot
• if phone enter bootloop, Go in recovery mode and wipe data and cache then reboot
• If phone boots up normally, you can flash TWRP from THIS POST but it’s not mandatory.
