Installation Method 1
- Backup all important data
- Charge Battery up to 50%
- Enable OEM unlock in developer options
- Make dload folder on sd card
- Extract update.zip and copy update.app to dload folder, Switch off your phone and hold 3 buttons (volume up, volume down, and power) until you see update start screen.
- Follow next steps only if 1st file installed successfully
- Remove update.app file from dload folder.
- After that extract “update_data_full_VNS-L11_hw_eu.zip” and move all files to dload folder and installit, using 3 button force update method (Switch off your phone and hold 3 buttons (volume up, volume down, and power) until you see update start screen.
Installation Method 2
- Enable OEM unlock in developer options
- Download Huawei updater from This Link
- Download latest Hisuite from official huawei website.
- Open huawei updater, tick in custom rom, in custom rom version type VNS-L31C432B371
- In Custom rom URL copy this link http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v80474/f1/
- Then tick custom port, don’t change it.
- Now connect your phone with pc and make sure Hisuite recognizes and connected properly. then just open Hisuite menu and change network settings as shown in image below.
Hisuite Configuration
- Then in huawei updater click start and in hisuite click check for update
- It should start downloading and install firmware

I was on B371 then rolled backed and tried B370 and same issue.

Thanks again Mutahhar, but does not work the rollback files present on Huawei websites, maybe it’s just for older beta versions of Nougat
It works, 100% tested, but only if you have correct build number, but you have test keys. Rollback is not going to work, fix build number 1st
I have now the NRD90M test-keys version installed and no Updater is to find…

You need to flash data package using twrp

If you can install rollback, go back marshmallow, you may get OTA, but twrp is safest and best method

No, you need to debrand your phone to make it European open market version , only then you will be able to update with European firmware.

it goes through update process very quickly.. then says success.. but no apps are installed or anything

As per my knowledge, you should rollback, because after oeminfo changed, you need to flash stock firmware again, and nougat full stock firmware not available.
If you want to take risk, do it as below.
1. Copy update.zip and data full. Zip to sd card.
2. Change oeminfo in twrp, don’t reboot.
3. Flash update.zip and data full zip
4. Reboot.
5. Try at your own risk.

My current version of marshmallow is unlocked and rooted with supersu and I have twrp… Can I still use your method to update to Nougat?
Download firmware and data files, copy in sd card then in twrp install update.zip and then install full data. Zip.

Hello there. I’m on the vns L31 and I used the 3rd option that’s now gone? But anyway. Could I somehow get the clean rom installed on my device (no excess bloatware and no Vodafone boot load) also known as a vanilla rom( meaning plain/clear) or would I have to stick with L31 software.
