OEM Unlock Greyed Out / Disabled

i have seen lots of users struggling with OEM unlock greyed out on their phones. By enabling OEM unlock users can modify android operating system, if this option is not enabled users can not make any modification.

How to fix it

  • Usually this problem occurs when users unlock bootloader without enabling OEM unlock.
  • To fix this problem you should re-lock bootloader, only then you will be able to enable oem unlock.
  • So in future make sure you enable OEM unlock before unlocking bootloader.
  • Most phones can be locked by using fastboot command (fastboot oem relock). some users may require 3rd party applications to lock bootloader.
  • If you can not be lock bootloader , then in some cases flashing stock firmware may fix this problem.
