[Solved] Internet is very slow after windows10 upgrade
like many other Microsoft fans i was also disappointed after windows 10 upgrade as my internet was slow & connection was unstable, after months of research found the reason & sharing solution with you.
Those who are thinking to upgrade, i would suggest offline update by downloading full standalone installer and disable internet before you start upgrade, otherwise windows will update your drivers from internet and your internet card will start creating problems.

and those who have already installed windows 10, disable automatic drivers updates in widnows 10 using this method.
How to Disable drivers updates in window10
For internet speed issue , there are 2 different types of solutions, one for the home/single language users. and 2nd is for pro/enterprise users.
unfortunately Microsoft disabled permission to change update setting in windows 10. and changed the way how updates are being downloaded & uploaded.
yes windows 10 can also send updates from your PC to internet users,
lets find out how.
1. For windows 10 (Single Language users)

Get updates from Microsoft, and get updates from and send updates to
and after this life there are 2 options. this is the tricky part, if you tick 1st option your computer would be allowed to download & upload the updates to computers on your local network (Home/Office) . and if you selected 2nd option then your computer is allowed to receive & send updates to all computers over internet. (and i beleive this is the main culprit for slow internet speed).
see image below and change settings accordingly

D: Main part is still to come, even after changing all these settings your computer is still able to download updates. to completely stop your computer from downloading updates, you need to disable windows updates service and put it to manual mode and save setting take no action if fails to starts.
you can do it by yourself , open run command > type “services.msc” >search for windows update service>right click select properties> change mode to manual> and in recovery tab select take no action in all failure options.
if you can not do this manually, Download this Registry Patch and it will do the desired job for you.
“Download Registry Patch to Disable Automatic Updates”
After downloading, extract the registry file and merge it by double clicking it. and manually restart the computer to save these changes.
(Warning: backup your registry before applying this patch, i am not responsible for any damage to your operating system)
Now you have successfully disabled the Automatic updates, but what if you need to update your computer? because there are some important updates being released by Microsoft.
How i do it, when i don’t want to work, usually at night, i put my computer in updates once in a week, or once in every 15 days,
To enable updates you have to start updates service again, by going to services. but i have created a patch which will add enable updates and disable updates option in your right click menu, to make it easier for you to change update settings,
see the image below

you can get these options by right clicking on desktop, all you have to do is download Windows update Patch created By Ministry Of Solution.
