Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Eating Space on Server C Drive

one of our client faced problem, that their server hard disk was getting full day by day, and almost 200GB was acquired by some unknown files, by doing little search found that Symantec endpoint security manager is the culprit. SEM log database was eating up all the space,
so this is how i recreated that database to release that space.
1. 1st of all kill all processes running by Symantec,  specially SQLANYs_sem5 , you have to open windows task manager and go to services tab to kill these processes , see in the images below

2. Right click and stop services, on all processes running by Symantec

3. Then Go to the following folder,
” C:Program Files (x86)SymantecSymantec Endpoint Protection ManagerASAwin32 “
at the end of this folder , you will see SEM5 file, rename it with SEM5_Old (Notice the size of this file )
4. now you have to recreate this log file, for this open command prompt and enter the following command
” CD C:Program Files (x86)SymantecSymantec Endpoint Protection ManagerASAwin32 “

5. Hit Enter & then again type this command,
dbsrv11 -f “C:Program Files (x86)SymantecSymantec Endpoint Protection ManagerASAwin32SEM5.db” 
(with inverted commas)

6. Now delete the file you renamed “SEM5_Old” at step 3 (Don’t delete new created SEM file)
7.  Restart the Computer
8. Problem Resolved

Note: This Solution Worked on SEM 12.0/12.1
